Children’s Day Special Activities

To celebrate Children’s Day, Taikang Art Museum is preparing a day of special activities for children and adults alike on 31 May. From observing artworks in the galleries to hands-on modelling and miniature planting, participants are invited to explore, create, and express themselves through both art and nature.

On the day of the event, visitors who participate in any one of the activities below and share their experience on social media can enter an on-site lucky draw for a Childhood Mystery Box.

1. Little Art Explorers – Special Free Session
10:30 AM-12:00 PM

Designed for children aged 5–12, this interactive guided tour encourages young visitors to observe, discuss, and discover the expressive world of Fu Luofei’s paintings, gradually uncovering the stories behind his deliberately exaggerated figures and facial expressions.

Participants who complete the check-in activity at the reception desk will receive a complimentary programme sketchbook. At each stop along the tour, children will be encouraged to create quick sketches using expressive and exaggerated drawing techniques, becoming young art detectives as they explore the exhibition.

A complimentary sketchbook is available upon completing the check-in activity. Alternatively, free A4 drawing paper will be provided.
