Little Art Explorers: Guided Tour & Creative Workshop invites children aged 5–12 to discover the art of Fu Luofei through an interactive gallery experience. Together, participants will observe, discuss, and explore the expressive world of the artist’s paintings, asking questions such as: Why do some of the figures look so unusual? Why are many of these paintings so small?
Programme
1. Interactive Guided Tour (approx. 45 min.)
The tour focuses on four sections of the exhibition—Pastoral, The Starving People, The Society of Humanity, and Self-Portraits. Through Fu Luofei’s deliberately exaggerated and distorted figures, children will discover the historical realities that inspired his work and learn how artists use visual language to respond to the world around them.
2. Sketching Workshop (approx. 30 min.)
Each participant will receive a sketchbook designed for the programme. Following different stops along the tour, children will create a series of quick sketches, including self-portraits, expressive drawings that exaggerate emotions of likes and dislikes, and colour studies inspired by the artworks. The workshop encourages young participants to express their own feelings, ideas, and imagination through drawing.
Every figure, every expression in these paintings quietly tells a story from another time.
Join us to discover the people, emotions, and history behind Fu Luofei’s art.
Fee
RMB 58 per participant
Exhibition admission is free. The fee includes the guided tour and all workshop materials.
